I'm sure you've all seen the resurgence of the 70's emerge in the runways, into magazines, and in stores. As it continues to make its way through the trend curve, the 70's revival seems to have left little room for those who frankly speaking despise such an era. I myself am not found of the 70's- I'm petite and hippy so flares don't suit me well, I refuse to wear a headband, and oversized silhouettes can sometimes be a little tricky on me. However, there is one trend from the 70's that I do love and that's FRINGE. It fun and youthful and adds attitude to any outfit, no matter where you're going. Because I haven't felt zealous enough to buy anything current from the store to support the trend I found this cute royal blue dress hiding in my closet. I got it from Forever 21 years ago and I'm so glad I kept it! It felt a little dated to me, so I layered on my military shirt jacket from Zara. The highs and lows of the colors were a perfect contrast, I added my floral cap from Old Navy just to add more interest and to protect my hair from the wind! Goes to show that you can update any old item in your closet and make it feel new again!
